One Direction: Olympics Closing Ceremony Performance with Ed Sheeran?
There hasn't been any official confirmation that One Direction will perform (none of the Olympics closing ceremony performers have been confirmed for that matter), but Directioners can hope, right?
Ed Sheeran told MTV News last week that the rumors "may or may not be true," spilling, "I was told not to say anything about that, and then as soon as I was told not to say anything about that, it was in The Daily Mail the next day. It was a bit odd."
He added, "The closing ceremony, there were rumors I am playing the closing ceremony. Those rumors may or may not be true. If I was to play the closing ceremony, I might be playing with quite a big rock band and I might be playing one of their most famous hits. Might be. And if I was doing that, it would feel quite fun, I think."
He teased, "And it would be quite a moment for me. But that's if I was doing it."
The Who, Spice Girls, Adele and Take That are also rumored to be in the Olympics closing ceremony lineup, so we'll have to see how that all shakes out.
Harry Styles leaves club with model Cara Delevigne
The pretty 19-year-old and the boybander were spotted driving off together in Harry’s shiny new Range Rover at 1am after spending Wednesday night together at Soho’s Omega House.
